BOZDOĞAN · AYDIN, TÜRKİYE — CERTIFIED ORGANIC

Single estate.Every lot traceable.

We grow, mill and fill our own organic olive oil on a single estate in the Büyük Menderes valley — and we sell it to importers, distributors and private-label buyers who need to say exactly where it came from.

I — WHY HERE

FOR IMPORTERS AND DISTRIBUTORS

What you are buying

Most Turkish olive oil offered for export is assembled — fruit from many growers, milled somewhere else, blended to a price. Ours is not. That single difference is what the rest of this site documents.

I

Single estate, one origin

Every litre comes from the same 15.6 hectares of registered parcels. No pooled fruit, no third-party lots, no blending with bought-in oil — the origin declaration on your label is a fact we can show you on a map.

II

Certified for three markets

ECOCERT audits us against EU Organic, NOP (USDA) and JAS at once, so a consignment can be documented for Europe, the United States or Japan without a new certification cycle.

III

Our own mill on site

Hand-picked fruit reaches our continuous line within two hours. Nothing waits overnight in crates, and nothing leaves the estate before it is oil — which is what keeps free acidity and polyphenols where they are.

IV

Filled to your order

Oil rests under nitrogen in light-free steel until a run is scheduled. You buy a named harvest lot with its own certificate of analysis, not an anonymous tank average.

MEMECIK · THE VARIETY THAT DEFINES THIS VALLEY

The estate is not only a production site. It is what a lifetime of work left in this soil — and the reason we can tell you exactly where every litre came from.

The Büyük Menderes valley has grown olives since antiquity. Its limestone slopes, its long dry summers and the water of the Akçay produce Memecik — a variety with a naturally high phenolic load, the trait that gives our early harvest its bitterness and its shelf life.

The farm takes its name from Mustafa Saraçoğlu, who grew up among these trees and spent a working life planting them. The groves standing today are his. The second generation added what he could not: a certified organic protocol, and a mill of our own so the fruit would stop travelling to somebody else's.

In 2024 we pressed our first crop on the estate. Since then every step from picking to filling has happened inside our own boundary, under one set of records — which is the only way a single-origin claim survives an audit.

“Respect for the past, hope for the future.”

FROM TREE TO LOT CODE

Three records, one chain

Traceability is a word every supplier uses. Ours rests on three documents that already exist because the estate, the mill and the filling line belong to the same company.

The parcel record

Each block of trees is a registered parcel with its own title deed, area and coordinates. Nothing enters the mill from outside those boundaries, which is what lets us put a single origin on the label rather than a country.

The harvest lot

Fruit picked on one day, from a named group of parcels, becomes one lot. It keeps that identity through pressing, filtration and storage — so an analysis certificate refers to your oil, not to an annual average.

The fill record

When a lot is bottled, the tank, the date and the destination are written down together. Give us a lot code years later and we can still tell you which trees it came from.

III — THE MILL

GROWN AND MILLED IN ONE PLACE

Two hours from
tree to press

The mill stands on the estate, among the parcels it presses. That is the whole reason our free acidity sits where it does: the fruit never queues at a third-party mill, never sits overnight, never oxidises while it waits its turn.

  1. 01

    Hand picking

Every olive is picked by hand. Neither the tree nor the fruit is beaten, so nothing arrives bruised.

Extra virgin is a legal category with numbers behind it. Here are ours, next to the limits they have to stay under — and the gap between the two columns is what two hours between picking and pressing actually buys, as well as the margin the oil has left to spend on your shelf.

We are a boutique estate, not a refinery — minimums are indicative and confirmed per programme, and a first trial order can usually be arranged below them. Availability is decided in November, not in the year that follows.

Destination country decides the label wording, the organic body code, the nutrition panel and often the bottle. Tell us where it is landing before we quote.

VII — CERTIFICATION

AUDITED BY ECOCERT

Papers before promises

Single estate audited under four organic schemes at once. For you that means a consignment can be documented for the European Union, the United States or Japan without waiting on a new certification cycle.

Our olives are picked only from our own parcels. Every stage from harvest to filling is recorded under the organic protocol, which is what allows an inspector — or a buyer — to reconstruct any lot from its code.

ECOCERT's audit covers more than the product. It examines the treatment of the soil, the water and the biodiversity around the groves, which is the part of organic certification that actually takes years rather than paperwork.
